Abstract
In addition to an analysis of Yefet’s translation techniques (chap. 1), the author also compares these to the translation techniques of Saadiah Gaon in his own Judaeo-Arabic translation of Ruth (chap. 4) and further considers the relationship between Yefet’s translation and rabbinic literature (chap. 5, sec. A).
