The author proves that the Judaeo-Arabic translation of Malachi in Ms. Hunt. 206, which was supplied by a later hand to replace lost folios in the original Ms., is also a reworking of Yefet b. Eli’s translation. The author follows his discussion with a complete edition of the Judaeo-Arabic translation of Malachi in this Ms., accompanied by a Modern Hebrew translation of the Judaeo-Arabic text and variant readings from Or. 2401 of the British Library, the only Ms. containing the complete text of Yefet’s Judaeo-Arabic translation and commentary on Malachi.
